These People Must Be Experts in Revenge
When you feel you’ve been wronged by someone, the best course of action is to explain to them how they’ve hurt you and try to make amends, right? Wrong. The best thing to do is try to get revenge by being as petty as humanly possible, because that’ll teach them a lesson and make them feel bad. So read on for some pointers from the following people who would all take home the gold in the petty Olympics!
The Best Way to Call Out a Bad Parker
Comparing a fully grown adult to a toddler is pretty mean, but sometimes passive aggression is literally the only way to get through to bad drivers who are just set in their ways. After all, you can't gift someone brain cells.
A Gift for the Office Thief
Every office has that one guy who steals stuff right out of people's lunch bags, and this prank is the perfect way to (not so) subtly tell him to keep his grubby little hands to himself. Hope you like mustard, Gary.
Well, Can't Brush Your Teeth Now, Can You?
If your sibling is annoying the heck out of you, just go right ahead and chop off the bristles from their toothbrush. It might be bizarre, but you can't say it ain't effective. However, be warned that it will thoroughly confuse them, and possibly make them think you're some kind of psychopath.
Stop the Barking PLEASE
We've all had that one neighbor who just leaves their dog outside in the backyard barking at four in the morning. It's cool that you aren't bothered by your dog barking, but some of us are trying to sleep, okay?
Petty Barista
This has a "hey you kids, get off my lawn" kind of feel to it, but honestly anyone over the age of 20 has had the urge to do this when they see a group of annoying teens coming their way. It's so simple, yet so effective.
'IDK, What Do You Want to Eat?'
Sometimes moms get sick of their kids' spoiled attitudes and being expected to cook all of their meals with very little gratitude in return. Well, this mom decided to fire back when she asked her kids what they wanted for dinner and their response was "I don't know." You can't say she didn't give them exactly what they asked for!
Shut Up, Dave
There's almost nothing more disruptive when you're trying to sleep than when the person next to you is snoring loudly. It's almost like they're rubbing it in your face that they're soundly asleep and you're not. Accordingly, this wife decided to get revenge on her husband in the most creative way, and we can't say we blame her.
Better Luck Next Time
After they broke up, this dude wrote his ex-girlfriend a letter. Sounds heartfelt, right? Well sure, until she proceeded to proofread the letter and give him a D- score. This is clearly pretty mean, but it's also hilariously petty. Clearly these two weren't meant to be together!
Disappointed Mom
There comes a time in every kid's life, usually around middle school, where they stop wanting their mom to write little notes in their lunches every day. As you can imagine, this is a hard day for a mom. This mom in particular did not take this news very well, and so she wrote her kid a passive aggressive note instead.
Savage Grandma
This has to be the most savage grandma we've ever seen. Imagine listening to your kids fighting about how much of your money they're getting after you die. Bleak. We can't say we blame her for this move!
The Cat Gets the Last Laugh
It's a fact that cats always need to be the center of attention at all times, no matter what. This guy was just trying to cook dinner in peace, but his cat kept getting in the way so he resorted to the only thing left to do: lock the cat in the bathroom. But in the end, it was clearly the cat who got the last laugh.
The Pettiness is Off the Charts Here
This woman posted on Reddit that her husband woke up on the wrong side of the bed (quite literally) in the morning, so he decided he was only going to make his half of the bed. We're not sure if that really taught his wife a "lesson," but we're willing to bet that it did give her a hearty laugh.
Bad Parking Spot
A bunch of annoyed (and thoroughly amused) store employees got together to lock this car in with shopping carts, so this guy inevitably learned his lesson the hard way to not park in places where you're not supposed to. Bravo.
The Dreaded Zip Tie
When this person tried to park in two spots at once, they got what they asked for: a shopping cart zip-tied to their door handle. It's a known fact that no one is ever equipped to remove a zip tie from anything, so this person likely drove all the way home with that shopping cart. Sorry not sorry.
The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (Decorations)
This person had their Christmas decorations stolen right from their front lawn, so they did the only logical thing they could think of: They put up new "decorations" straight from the security camera with the thief's face on them! Merry Christmas!
Fish Tacos for Lunch
What is it with these office lunch thieves? Imagine packing your favorite food for lunch and then heading to the fridge at noon only to realize Gary the office thief has once again stolen your lunch. Apparently Gary didn't learn after the mustard mishap, so it's time for more drastic measures. This time it's fish tacos with cat food. Yum.
Cheaters Get Saran-Wrapped
This woman thought up the perfect petty solution when she found out that her husband was cheating on her: She saran-wrapped his car to a pole. While most people in a similar situation probably would've just slashed the car's tires or broken something, this woman knew that saran wrap would be plenty annoying without risking the legal troubles of property destruction. Brilliant.
'Literally Anything but Olive Garden'
This guy tweeted that he offered to buy his admin team lunch one day after they had worked hard all month. He asked them what they wanted to eat, and one woman (pictured) who had been bullying him regularly said "literally anything but Olive Garden." The look of disappointment on her face after he ordered exactly what she requested he not order for them must've been the best revenge one could ask for!
Bad Service
Don't get us wrong, rude customers are the absolute worst. However, getting bad service at a restaurant can also be incredibly infuriating, especially if you've been waiting patiently for a long time and the restaurant staff just keeps ignoring you. We're hoping whoever wrote this note in ketchup had a very good reason for doing so!
#Petty
Any fast food connoisseur knows the stereotype about McDonald's ice cream machines constantly being broken. As is such, these Sonic employees saw their opportunity to throw a little shade at their competitor and ran with it. We think they should've been given raises for their efforts, but apparently corporate felt differently!
More Bad Parking...
This person tweeted that they had been carrying chalk around in their car for nearly a year just in case they had the opportunity to do exactly this. After all, when you encounter a driver who insists on parking in this manner, sometimes the only thing you can really do is cater to them by drawing them a personalized parking spot!
Welcome to the Jungle
You have to admit that this is pretty dang clever. We just hope that the driver was equally amused (and relieved after finding that the tires were not literally slashed).
Happy Birthday, Pothole!
Villagers in England were getting fed up with the city not doing anything about this annoying pothole in the middle of the road for two years, so they did what anyone else would do: They threw a little birthday for the pothole's two-year anniversary. Wonder if it worked!
Merry Christmas, Bro
As payback for his brother wrapping his present entirely with duct tape last Christmas, this guy decided to get revenge in the pettiest way possible: he wrapped his gift in concrete. We're not entirely sure how he did this, but we're betting his brother's reaction was priceless!
Go Smash Someone Else's Pumpkins
When those dang kids keep coming to your porch and stealing your pumpkins, there's only one logical thing to do: Glue a hundred little tacks on each one to scare them away - because why simply bring the pumpkins inside when you could do something that takes ten times longer?
Ryan Reynolds is a Better Prom Date Anyway
While we're sure this girl must've been heartbroken after the breakup, at least she's clearly got a sense of humor! We're pretty confident she'll find someone better out there. Now we just really want to know if Mr. Ryan Reynolds himself saw this tweet!
Cling Wrap Revenge
This guy "jokingly" fed his roommates dog food telling them it was jerky, so when he went away for the weekend, they knew they had to do something petty to get him back. Their revenge? Wrap absolutely everything in his bedroom in cling wrap, of course! Because what else would you do?
Cheaters Don't Get Gifts
When this woman found out that her boyfriend was cheating on her through private chat messages right before his birthday, she printed out said messages making it look like she had gotten him a gift. Oh, the sweet schadenfreude!
Have You Ever Seen Pettier Neighbors?
Dang, these people must've done something terrible to their neighbors, because why else would they meticulously clean only their exact portion of the wall? It's impressive, really.
(Not) Made With Love
This type of pettiness can only be exhibited by long-term couples who are clearly still in love, but need to find creative, petty ways to tell their significant other that they are very annoyed with them. What better way than to write a passive aggressive little sandwich note?
"I Want To Play A Game"
If you take the time to count them out, we count no less than 40 parking stubs. Clearly, this person has suffered the wrath of the parking enforcement police one-too-many times. Whether they're a student or disgruntled employee forced to park in metered spots, day-in and day-out, they have no more patience. In fact, they've gone crazy with the lack of patience. No word on if the "meter maid" actually left a ticket, though.
The Cheating Ex Is Missing Out
Not only did this ex-boyfriend lose out on this catch of a girl, he's stuck at home... watching the big game from his now sad and lonely couch. If you look closely, it appears that this newly-single sports fan is having the time of her life. Will the home team win? Will she end up with another sports fan that was also just cheated on? Who knows, but we applaud her humorous and valiant sign-making abilities.
Two Can Play At This Game
We have several questions here. One, how old is this girl? We have to ask because the sock is quite tiny. Two, how did she become so clever at such a young and tender age? Three, when do most children learn to use a photocopier? And lastly, why did this young whippersnapper become so vengeful? Still, this innocent prank deserves major props. We never would have thought to photocopy our dirty clothes and then leave it out for our family to discover.
Is The Car Or The Driver Trash?
You can't blame the trash haulers for playing the game. With a large green dumpster displaying "No Parking" in bold white letters, this Range Rover driver has no excuse. What's worse is that there's a parking lot right behind the fence. Would it have been so terrible to shell out the $10 to park in a completely validated parking spot? For spending as much as they did on their SUV, it's surprising to see how cheap the "rich" really are.
How Did I Get Here Again?
Leave it to a small-engine airplane pilot with a dirty sense of humor to cause mass panic by the sightseers below. There's absolutely no way a pilot is able to take off and spell out "How Do I Land?" in perfectly legible letters and not knowing how to land. This is the lovely work of an experienced jokester. If only there was a second plane to spell out the directions on how to land... but we're sure that would be pretty wordy...
Thankfully Halloween Is Over
Halloween has come and gone, thankfully. These are the true terrors of the spooky holiday. What kind of sicko impales an onion and then candy coats it to candy apple perfection? Seriously, look at how smooth and convincing those onions are! We would love to find out if these were handed out to Trick-R-Treaters or friends and family at a Halloween party. The ultimate joke would be on this devil if the receiver needed an onion.
Definitely The Worst Seat In The House
This is a prime example where a photo really is worth a thousand words. To be honest, we were thinking this was a prime "The Office" prank between Jim and Dwight. That said, whoever was the recipient of this audibly-painful prank must have done something unforgivable. It must take a lot to go out and purchase an air horn and packing tape and then take the time to properly secure it to the base of an office chair.
How Many Boxes Is Too Many Boxes?
So, supposedly this is an April Fool's prank. This prank definitely took some time to acquire to several dozen boxes needed to litter the front walkway. But were these boxes only accumulated by the wife or did she ask her friends for their shipping boxes as well? We also want to know how long it took to procure such a large number of cardboard rectangles. If this wife did all of this herself, in four months, there's another credit card bill prank coming for this unsuspecting husband. Hopefully, we can find a follow-up receipt online somewhere.
You've Got A Slash On Your Tire
Slash, you know Slash, right? The English-American songwriter, producer, and lead guitarist of the band Guns N' Roses. That one? Formally yes but technically no. When we were referring to Slash, we were actually referring to the picture of Slash poorly taped on top of the slash on your tire. We know one of these things is not like the other. Unfortunately, the slash you will be becoming familiar with is the one no one ever wants to deal with.
You Know What? It Might Be Wet
They say swimmers don't have a sense of humor. This wet-floor sign placed atop a kickboard and pushed gently from the edges of a pool begs to differ. We do feel bad for the janitor that has to clean up this swimming pool-sized spill, however. How these swimmers let this spill get so large is beyond us. We would think they know the dangers of having a spill next to the pool. But guess we were wrong.
Pizza Delivery Fail
There are so many things wrong with this photo. This isn't even a prank. This is a poor, defenseless, boxless pizza, sinfully placed throughout the back platform of a bicycle. We need to find out the perpetrator of this heinous crime and bring justice to this poor, poor pizza. There is absolutely nothing redeeming about this photo. We just realized that they left this pizza out in the snowy cold, too. Who would do such a thing?
No TP For You
Who hurt this man so bad that the only way he was able to get back was to zip-tie the entire roll of toilet paper. Not only does this deeply affect the first person, but it's also going to affect everyone else until that monstrous zip-tie is cut off. That said, this prank or act of revenge will go down in office history. And by office history, it's going to last a week, two tops.
The Miracle Donut
We've seen donut holes and jelly-filled donuts have their innards replaced with delicious but totally uncomplimentary mayo. But to insert Miracle Whip, which might actually be worse than mayo, inserted into a round donut, with its center missing (as expected), takes dedication to the prank. No one in the right mind, even if they're trained in the art of pranks, would be prepared for such a travesty. Thinking about it, biting into that tasty-looking chocolate-dipped donut, filled with Miracle Whip, would be absolutely disgusting.
The Blind Mouse
If this isn't the cutest little office April Fool's prank, well, we'd like to see the other cuter thing. The placement of a sticky note over the mouse laser is so innocent yet so stupidly clever and simple. Plus, the addition of the little smiley face makes this even more heartwarming. This prank took two seconds to put together but probably left an enduring smile for the rest of the workday. Cheers to you, little smiley guy.
Perfectly Aligned
Senior pranks are a coming-of-age event for the high school seniors ready to depart for college. Gone are the days and fears of detention. Gone are the concerns of making a good first impression. Gone are the days of just caring. It's only during the last few weeks of the senior year do these deserving young adults get to release their first true creation upon the world. In this instance, these graduating seniors are artists and perfectionists. We mean, look at how perfect these cups are laid out. This creation is a true work of art.
Will He Notice The Shoe On The Ceiling
Posted by Reddit user SeamanTheSailor two years ago - "Day 3 of sticking my dads possesions to the ceiling until he notices. Today, a whole *** shoe." Yes, a whole shoe may be glued to the ceiling, but look, his glasses are up there, too. There's no way he going to notice. We're also concerned that his wallet is up there, too? Unless this dad works from home, we find an issue that he leaves his identification and money at home, at all time...
The Office... In Real Life
Dwight Schrute: Damn it! Jim! He put my stuff in Jell-O again. [Points to Michael] Dwight Schrute: You can be a witness. Can you reprimand him, please? Jim Halpert: [eating Jell-O] How do you know it was me? Honestly, after a hard day of making enough jello to fill your co-worker's office drawer, does anything beat a nice hearty serving of jello? All that said, it must take a ton of jello to fill an entire drawer of the stuff.
A Gentleman And His Feline
If someone knows more about this prank, please reach out and tell us. We seek to know more. Left on Reddit four years ago for the whole world to see, the poster left us with this little snippet behind the photo. "How to win a prank war. My friend snuck a heinous portrait of me into a charity auction that I was attending. Sold for $200." Not only was this prank legendary, it sold for $200!
Bringing The Outdoors Inside
To be frank, this may be a prank, but in actuality, the change from carpet to artificial grass might be a fun change. We mean seriously, props to the big brother or best friend to not only "install" this in a bedroom but to include a game of mini croquet set for even more fun. Literally, why go outside when you can enjoy even more of the inside of your house? Real grass is dirty. Fake grass is your friend.
A True Scholar
To receive a diploma from the "Council of Clean Plates" is quite an accomplishment. We all know how hard it is to finish a whole plate of vegetables. Only true "Big Boys" are able to do such a thing. We appreciate the friend or parent willing to go above and beyond to craft such a convincing and "official" document. If anyone knows, I'd like to apply to this University and receive my very own diploma.
